To celebrate the birth of Mad Decent's founding father Wesley "Diplo" Pentz, some vagabond has uploaded the original 38 minute Florida DVD in its entirety. That's it up there.

New Mumdance EP

Mumdance is set to release his first solo effort on the mighty Mad Decent, simply titled 'Mum Decent'. The EP is out this Monday in the UK and Europe and Tuesday in the US and the rest of the world.

The video for the lead single 'Forget Me Now' features Esser and is to premier on Pitchfork the day of the US release. You can preview the EP at Mad Decent.

New Kanji Kinetic EP 'Thrill Seeka'

Kanji Kinetic has released an EP on Chrissy Murderbot's label Sleazetone. The release promises to be the biggest for the label so far, with remixes coming from Krazy Fiesta (of Trunkfunk/Turboweekend fame) and upcoming bass or, to coin a wanky term, "post-garage" superstar Kingdom (Night Slugs, Fool’s Gold, Mad Decent, Acéphale).

New Major Lazer EP!

The "Gorillaz of dancehall" as nobody is calling them, Major Lazer have a new EP out at the end of next month on Mad Decent called 'Lazers Never Die'.

The EP features two new tracks as well as remixes of tunes from their album by Buraka Som Sistema, Kicks Like A Mule and, believe it or not, Thom Yorke. The new release also features the vocal talents of MIA, Busy Signal, Lindi Ortega and the legendary Collie Buddz.

The new EP is available now on iTunes and will be available internationally on August 26th.

Jammer - Ten Man Roll [Video]

The official video for the new Jammer single 'Ten Man Roll'. The track was produced by Shortstuff, Brackles, and Mumdance.

Jammer's full length album, 'Jahmanji', is out 5th July on Big Dada. Mumdance's new mixtape, 'Different Circles', which features 17 unreleased tracks and collaborations is coming out very soon for free download.

New Rusko single is anything but new

According to the Mad Decent blog, Rusko's "new" single Woo Boost is out at the end of this month. Yep, you read that right. They STILL haven't released that tune yet. There's building up hype and then there's building up hype before completely forgetting what you were doing, doing something else for a while and then resuming the task half-heartedly a year later.

I'm sorry, but is that not the worst idea ever? Not only has that track been out so long and played so many times that everyone hates it, but it's also been bootlegged so many times that everyone already has it. In fact, they bootlegged it, played it to death and deleted it all before the year was out.

So why this is being released at all is a mystery. The b-sides and remixes will have to be pretty fucking special to raise its value above that of the empty sleeve. In their defence, I suspect what happened was it got lost in the switch from Sub Soldiers to Mad Decent, but still. I mean, surely you'd just forget about it since no one's actually going to buy it.
